## About Us

PDF to CAD Converter is owned and operated by MTTenterprise Inc., an Ontario, Canada business. The service converts PDF drawings, scanned plans, blueprint images, and related technical files into CAD-ready DXF, DWG, or DGN outputs.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and delete information when you use pdftocadconverter.com, including guest conversions, registered accounts, subscriptions, credits, support, and billing workflows.

## Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, password authentication data, subscription status, drawing credit balance, team membership, and support messages.

We also collect operational information needed to run the converter, including uploaded file names, conversion status, output format, account or guest access records, IP address, browser details, anti-abuse signals, error logs, and usage history.

## Uploaded Drawings and CAD Outputs

Uploaded PDFs, scans, images, and generated DXF, DWG, or DGN files are processed to provide the conversion service. Files may include architectural plans, engineering drawings, blueprints, measurements, annotations, title blocks, project names, client names, addresses, or other information you choose to upload.

Guest files and registered user files are kept in separate storage areas. This separation supports access controls, retention rules, and cleanup for temporary guest conversions.

## How We Use Information

Run PDF, scan, image, DXF, and DWG conversion jobs.

Provide upload, status, preview, download, and history.

Apply guest, free, subscription, and credit limits.

Detect abuse, fraud, scraping, and automated misuse.

Send transactional emails such as welcome, failed conversion, subscription, credit, and billing notices.

Improve reliability, security, conversion quality, and support workflows.

## Payments and Billing

We use Stripe to process subscriptions, checkout, invoices, payment status, drawing credits, and billing portal access. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We store billing metadata needed to keep your plan and credits accurate, such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, receipt or checkout identifiers, product or price identifiers, and payment status.

## Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the platform, including providers for hosting, file storage, email delivery, payments, logging, support, and security. Stripe is used for payment processing.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide billing, email delivery, storage, security, analytics, or support services for PDF to CAD Converter.

## Security Practices

Encrypted HTTPS transport for application traffic.

Protected download and guest result links.

Separate guest and registered-user file areas.

Rate limiting using stable account, device, and IP signals.

Restricted administrative access and production configuration isolation.

## Retention and Deletion

Guest conversion links expire after the configured guest access period. The current default is 24 hours, followed by scheduled cleanup with a grace period. Viewer uploads expire after the configured viewer access period, currently 2 hours by default.

Registered user conversion history and files may be retained while the account remains active so users can access downloads and history. You may delete your account from settings or contact us to request deletion of account data and associated conversion files, subject to legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and backup retention obligations.

## Cookies and Device Signals

We use cookies and similar signals to keep you signed in, protect forms, prevent abuse, remember preferences, and enforce usage limits. These controls help prevent users from bypassing limits by repeatedly changing browser or network details.

Some browsers allow you to block cookies, but doing so may prevent account login, checkout, conversion status, or download flows from working correctly.

## Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. We honor applicable privacy rights under Canadian privacy law, GDPR/UK GDPR where applicable, and relevant US state privacy laws.

To exercise privacy rights, email support@pdftocadconverter.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

## Children and Restricted Use

PDF to CAD Converter is intended for business, professional, technical, and adult users. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
